Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1691389A1] The chamber has a contact arrangement (2) held in a housing. The housing includes two hollow bodies (7, 8) maintained at high voltage, and an insulating pipe (6) held at a distance to the bodies. The bodies include an upper surface formed with electrically shielded separation zones (71, 72, 81, 82), during operation of the interrupter. The separation zones separate two upper surface zones of different roughness in the hollow bodies.
