Abstract (en)
The method involves holding leading and trailing ends of a cable by a twisting unit (15). The leading and trailing ends are transferred by a transferring unit (16) after the twisting process. The ends are led to processing units (17), which assembles the cable ends. The assembled cable is transferred from the processing units to a bundling unit (18) by the transferring unit. A cable bundle with cables is formed in the bundling unit. An independent claim is also included for a device for processing a cable.
