[origin: EP1542027A1] The device has a detection unit (102) with antennas (103) for detecting electromagnetic radiation on wide frequency bands. The radiation detected by the antennas is transmitted to a filtering unit (104) which filters a frequency band corresponding to telecommunication services or radio broadcasting services, from the wide frequency bands. A processing unit (108) measures the level of radiation based on the filtered frequency band.
