Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1692963A1] The applicator (2) has a stem (8), a closing unit at one end of the stem for closing a container (3) and a bundle of bristles (21) at another end of the stem. The bundle has a transversal section extended along an axis of longer length and has, when observed perpendicular to the axis, a beveled end. The angle at the summit of the bevel is 20 degree. The bundle has a rectangular or oval flat shape selected to form a tip used to deposit a line of a product. The bundle is starched with a substance which is dissolved in the product. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a packing and application device comprising an applicator (2) a method for the make-up of nails.
