Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1693518A1] Protection plank strand has longitudinal rails (9) which have trapezoidal cross section and have a bar and two shanks, whereby round timbers (5) are partially enclosed by longitudinal rails. Longitudinal rails are consecutively connected with their ends (23,24) overlapping. The overlapping ends are bent away from the round timbers, relative to the adjacent longitudinal sections (27) of the longitudinal rails.
