[origin: FR2863933A1] The moulding procedure uses a composite sandwich that incorporates an expansion agent that reacts at the moment of moulding. The agent can be incorporated in the core of the sandwich or applied to the core and/or its covering material and reacts to the sandwich moulding temperature. The component has surface undulations or irregularities with an amplitude of less than 50 microns and a density of between 30 and 1200 kg/cu m. The expansion agent can be exothermic, e.g. azidocarbonamide or sulfonyl hydrazide, or endothermic, such as a mixture of sodium bicarbonate and citric acid.
