The variation provokes selection of the external power source. The object communicates with an electronic data transmission terminal through the contact and/or contactless interfaces. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a device for preventing power variations provided to an object (B) transmission terminals contacting with a portable intelligent object (C) a portable intelligent object implementing a process of preventing power variations.
