Abstract (en)
Rotating body (01) for a printing press comprises a roll body with a base body (17) having a cylindrical surface (18) and an outer body (19) having an outer side forming the casing (07) of the roll body. The outer body forms at least one curved part lying on and connected to the surface of the base body. The outer body has on its inner side (24) at least one hollow chamber (21) opening toward the surface of the base body and containing a tempering agent. An independent claim is also included for an alternative rotating body. Preferred Features: At least the outer body is made of steel. The tempering agent is a liquid heat-transfer medium.
