[origin: EP1695825A2] The register-holding aligning device holds a printing plate on the platen cylinder (01) of a rotary printing press. It has an axially adjustable register projection engaging in a recess in the printing plate and connected by a cylindrical channel to the outside of the platen cylinder. The register projection is formed by a cylindrical sector co-axial to a cylindrical boring (03).
