Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1695935A2] The feeder comprises a stationary cylinder (12) having a delivery edge (12r), on which cylinder are wound thead loops to be fed to a textile machine arranged downstream. A hollow frustoconical member (16) abuts with its internal surface against the delivery edge (12r) of the cylinder. The frustoconical member (16) consists of a plurality of substantially radial, metal foils (16a) arranged to form a frustoconical surface and fastened, at the larger perimeter of the frustoconical surface, to a frame (17) which is suspended at the middle of a spider assembly of helical springs (19) having one end anchored to the frame (17b) and the opposite end anchored to an annular support (20) connected to the cylinder (12).
