[origin: EP1698244A2] An adjustment system for a helmet includes a stabilizer plate configured to be movably attached to an underside of the helmet, at least one adjustment member movably retained by the stabilizer plate, and a locking member that securely retains the adjustment member. The locking member is configured to be selectively engaged to move the adjustment member relative to the stabilizer plate so that the stabilizer plate is configured to move relative to the helmet.
