Abstract (en)
The offset printing unit has an inking attachment and a plate cylinder carrying a printing forme with an associated rubber cloth cylinder and the dampening device (4) has a supply system damping material formed by a rotary driven moisture feeder (6) immersed in a moisture container and a moisture application roller for bringing into contact with the plate cylinder. The dampening device has an additional feed system formed of rollers (10, 9).in contact with the moisture feeder and with the application roller (5).
