Abstract (en)
A paper (1) mill has a dewatering press (1), and a ceramic-coated power-driven heated drying drum (2) forming a nip gap with an adjacent finishing roller (5). The web is in continual contact with a dewatering belt or the heated drum until reaching the nip gap. The finishing roller has a sag correction mechanism.
