[origin: EP1698740A2] A method for supplying external fittings of roof mounted windows with servo power has the servo control units mounted in spaces in the fixed frame and accessible from inside the window. The connections to the external servo drives, e.g. external shutters, are fitted through the fixed frame with appropriate seals. No connections are required through the roof itself. The external connection for the servo drive can be via a fixed connector on the outside of the fixed frame, e.g. via a plug connection. The control modules and connections are sealed air tight in the fixed frame. The design can be applied to any design of roof mounted window.
