Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1698742A2] The embrasure connection profile comprises a base profile (2) that is fixable to a building section (11) and has a connected outer profile (3), via a flexible bracket (5), as well as a shank (4). The shank of the outer profile is designed to hold a barrier layer (13) and is fixable after setting of the barrier layer on its outer side (7). There may be an adhesive layer (12) on the barrier layer~s other side that may be, preferably, a double-sided adhesive layer. There may be a turning chamber (9) for the flexible bracket built between the base profile and the outer profile. The bracket may have a cross-section that is cambered in one or more ways.
