[origin: WO2005065571A1] A dental implant is described that has two lateral recesses (8) on the lateral surface (1). They extend longitudinally for at least 1/3 of the length, starting from the coronal end (2), and care opposite each other. They are intended to be situated in an interproximal position when the implant is inserted into the bone and allow the preservation and/or regeneration of the interproximal bone peak, even in the presence of neighbouring teeth roots or dental implants, with better aesthetical and functional results than in known implants
