[origin: WO2005058518A1] The invention relates to a torque support on oil collecting receptacles (2, 2') in the region of the paired connection of spindle heads and roller journals(1, 1') in roll stands during the displacement thereof in a vertical and axial direction, respectively comprising a fixing point on the upper and lower oil collecting receptacles (2, 2'). The novel torque support comprises a single-piece strip (3) having a particularly rectangular cross- section made of a bend-resistant material, which is swingingly connected on a vertical plane to the upper oil-collecting receptacle (2) on the upper end thereof by means of a joint (4) and which is slidingly guided along the vertical swinging plane in the region of the lower end (9) thereof in a positive-fit-compatible recess (5) of a guide sliding member (6), whereby the distance thereof and the angle of inclination (A) thereof are modifiable.
