[origin: WO2005063438A1] The invention relates to a rolling device (8) of a rolling mill (1) for crankshafts (3), comprising two opposing arms, one arm (9) supporting a roll head (13) and the other arm (10) a back-up roll head (14). The latter (14) comprises two back-up rolls (21, 22) with parallel axes and the roll head (13) has two rolls (23, 24), which engage in the radii or grooves of the lifting bearing journals (5) or main bearing journals (6) of crankshafts (3). According to the invention, an axial guide roll (27) is provided on the roll head (13) in a scissor configuration of the rolling device (8), said roll being positioned centrally in relation to the roll head (13), with the rotational axis (7) of said roll lying perpendicularly to the rotational axis (4) of the crankshaft (3). The diameter of said roll (28) is significantly smaller than the distance (29a) between the oil flanges (25, 26) of a main bearing journal (6) or lifting bearing journal (5) of the crankshaft (3).
