Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2005057312A2] The invention relates to a lock (10) for the multiple locking of doors or wall sections in housings or cabinets, especially for outdoor use, by means of an actuating element such as a release lever. Said lock comprises a drive gear wheel (18), which is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the actuating element (16) that is mounted in the door (12) and which meshes with a locking rod (20), the latter being mounted in the door (12) so that it can be displaced axially and being provided on one side with teeth. The lock also comprises bolt elements (22) that are rotationally or pivotally mounted in the door (12) and that are coupled to the locking rod (20). According to the invention, in order to couple the locking rod (20) to the bolt elements (22), a respective drive gear wheel (26) for each bolt element is rotationally mounted on the door (12), said wheel being connected to the bolt element in a rotationally fixed manner and meshing with the teeth of the locking rod (20).
