Abstract (en)

In a process to make rod mesh, uniform lengths of rod (D3) are cut from a feed and placed in parallel groups (P5) with uniform lateral separation. The parallel rods are then transported at right angles to their longitudinal presentation and advance (P1) towards a point at which they are lowered (P6) as a group into a clamping jig.
