Abstract (en)
The device to divide and portion the food or other substance (4) has a base body (1) a laying surface (1.1) on which the mass is positioned, a lengthwise axis (6) running parallel to the laying surface, a dividing unit (3) with a dividing means (3.4) fixable on the dividing unit. The dividing means can be moved along a cutting plane (5) through at least one part of the substance. The dividing means is fixed to the dividing unit in such a way as to be either slid and/or pivoted along a plane running at right angles to the lengthwise axis.
