Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1700693A2] Printed sheet coating method involves transferring an image-reproducing layer to a printed sheet from a carrier foil, by a coating module (2). A counter pressure cylinder and a pressing roller form a common transfer gap (6) in the module, when the layer is transferred. The image reproducing layer holds onto the printed sheet, after the printed sheet comes out from the transfer gap in the area of image that is provided with adhesive material. An independent claim is also included for a device for execution of the above method for coating printed sheet.
