Abstract (en)
A wrapping device 1 for wrapping an object to be wrapped of substantially cuboid shape with predetermined width, length, and thickness facilitates wrapping with a simpler structure. The wrapping device 1 includes a mounting table 10, an upper side folder 17, a first heater 15, second heaters 16, first projections 11, second projections 12, and interfolding portions 13. A resin film (a wrapping material) is placed on the mounting table 10 and a CD case (an object to be wrapped) is mounted on a receptacle 10a thereon. Then, the resin film is folded back toward the top face of the CD case, to which the folder 17 is moved to fuse it by the first heater 15. Then, the first and the second projections 11 and 12 are moved, and the table 10 is moved downward to interfold and fuse the film by the second heaters 16.
