Abstract (en)
The profile has a U-profile strip (40) made of a thermoplastic foam with two flanks (41, 42), each including a flank inner face and an exposed front face. Each flank has a strip opening extending in longitudinal direction of the strip. A foil inlay (50) is arranged in a receiving space (44) to contact with a plate-shaped body. The inlay is joined on a profile side and has strength greater than that of the foam.
