Abstract (en)
The switch mat (8) has a housing (2) with a supported background illuminating actuating element for admission of switching contacts. The switching mat is darkly dyed in such a manner that on one hand, the scattered light is absorbed by the switching mat and on the other hand, the background illumination of the actuating element (4) is let through by the switch mat.
