[origin: WO2005060821A1] According to the invention, a dishwasher with a drying device may be achieved, which permits an economical rapid drying of the rinsed items in the rinsing chamber, whereby said dishwasher is provided with at least one spraying device, for the sprayed introduction of rinsing fluid into the interior of a rinsing chamber and a drying device, for the drying of the rinsed items, whereby a hot air flow, for drying the rinsed items is introduced into the rinsing chamber from the drying device, by means of the spraying device. The rinsed items thus come as directly as possible into contact with the hot air flow, exiting from the spraying device and an even distribution of the hot air within the rinsing chamber is achieved which leads to an efficient drying and/or to low energy usage.
