Abstract (en)

[origin: FR2864916A1] The process involves providing an injection channel (32`) opened through an opening into a cavity (33) in a body (30) of a fuel injection device. An electrode (34) having an unsheathed zone (34A`) is arranged in the cavity. A potential difference is applied between the body and the electrode using an electrolyte in the cavity to trim the periphery of the opening by electro-chemical erosion. An independent claim is also included for a fuel injection device including an electrode that implements an injection channel producing process.
