Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2005061828A2] Disclosed is an electric door opener that is disposed in a door frame and comprises a door opener latch which is easy to operate under the effect of force and is used for releasing a latch bolt of a door lock, said door lock being arranged in a pivotable door. The aim of the invention is to develop an electromagnetically actuated switching drive for preventing the door opener latch from being moved and allowing the same to be moved. Said aim is achieved by embodying the kinematic gear that is configured as a locking drive in a non-positive/positive manner between two members of the kinematic chain, a closed kinematic chain being provided in the locked state of the door opener and an open kinematic chain being provided in the unlocked state thereof. The locking drive is composed of a spring-loaded switching member that is provided with an electromagnetic drive unit while encompassing a positive articulated joint between at least one locking member which is connected to the door opener latch and a switching cam connected to the switching member, the door opener latch being pivotally arranged in the housing.
