[origin: WO2005064150A1] Disclosed is a fuel injection valve (1) comprising an actuator which is effectively connected to a valve needle (3). The discharge end of said valve needle (3) is provided with a valve-closing member (4) which cooperates with a valve seat surface (6) so as to form a sealing seat. A discharge port (7) ends at an outlet point (46). Said outlet point (46) of the discharge port (7) protrudes relative to all sides of the surface which surrounds the outlet point (46) and from which the same extends.
