[origin: WO2005064740A1] The invention relates to a stripline directional coupler having two coupling lines that are galvanically separated with respect to a ground layer applied to a ground potential. Said coupler has an especially multilayer line structure comprising three metal layers separated by at least two dielectric insulating layers. A first metal layer presents the coupling line and a second of the at least three metal layer has a line structure that is galvanically separated from the at least two other metal layers. Said line structure forms minute series-connected capacitors between the at least three metal layers.
