[origin: WO2005064773A1] The invention relates to a regulator unit, especially for influencing an energizing current, preferably for generators of motor vehicles. Said regulator unit comprises a housing (13), whereby the housing (13) comprises a sliding contact retaining area (16) with a guide (19) and sliding contacts (22) seated therein. The regulator unit also has a regulator housing section (25) in which an electronic regulator element and a regulator cooling body (28) is received. A connector element (31) electrically connects the regulator unit (10) with external contact elements. The regulator unit (10) is provided with a first passage (34) and a second passage (37) through which the regulator unit (10) can be fastened on the housing (40) by means of two bolt elements (34). The regulator cooling body (28) is interposed between the sliding contact retaining area (16) and the connector element (31).
