[origin: EP1702522A1] The device has a smoke carousel (1), pump and smoke gas mixing device with two mixing units. The mixing units have a piston pump and a valve for simultaneous production of different smoke gas mixture. The pump is provided for diluting the smoke gas and for discharging the diluted smoke gas. A stepping motor is controlled for a drive of the piston pump. The valve exhibits a valve path for suction of fresh air and smoke gas. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing smoke gas mixture for chemical, physical, biological and/or In-vitro analysis.
