Abstract (en)
The bending machine, comprising a rigid base e.g. of cast iron with a bending shoe and at least one support (10) with a locking jaw (36), has the support mounted movably on an arm (3) with one end (4) pivoted to a turret head (6) so it can rotate about two orthogonal axes (Y, Z) relative to the base. The rotation of the arm is controlled by one electric motor/reduction gear unit on the arm itself and another one (8) fitted to the turret, and the position of the support is controlled by a slider (11) and a nut and screw (13) assembly located in a trough along the arm and driven by an electric motor (15) in the turret.
