The injection jet (1) has a jet needle (3) in a jet body (4) to inject fuel through an injection hole (5). It has a transfer piston (18) and a coupling piston (24) with two coupling surfaces (25, 26). It also includes a traveling coupling (29), which at least at the beginning of the opening stroke, mechanically couples coupling piston to the transfer piston.
