[origin: WO2005058076A1] The disclosed scraper for cleaning surfaces around revolving knives in a cutter drum for cutting/comminuting organic plant materials, particularly tobacco materials, is characterised in that it is mounted in a holder (2) of a rotary shaft (4) coupled with the shaft of the cutter drum (1), the shaft (4) of the scraper (3) and the drum (1) having a common drive. Employing the scraper according to the invention allows for continuous, simple, convenient and reliable removal of the buildup from the blade zone of the cutting/comminuting knife.
