[origin: WO2005063598A2] The aim of the invention is to ensure torque transmission between a tube and a drive unit that is mounted therein with the aid of a component which is optimized regarding assembly while providing a sufficient centering effect. Said aim is achieved by a rotary support which is embodied as a hollow cylindrical member (1). An elastic joining device (3), e.g. an O-ring, which is disposed on the outer circumference of the hollow cylindrical member (1) in a defined arrangement, is used for elastically connecting the hollow cylindrical member (1) to the tube. The elastic joining device (3) has a centering and damping effect while ensuring transfer of moment. Ducts (6) ensure penetration by coolant/ a cooling circuit.
