[origin: EP1704937A1] The vessel has a base (2) which is made of a material which is not suitable for inductive cookers. Part (4) of the base is covered with ferrousmagnetic induction element (5). The base has an opening, which penetrates the base part where the ferrousmagnetic induction element is provided. The induction elements are provided in the opening of the base. The ferrousmagnetic induction elements are concentrically arranged in the base part. An independent claim is included for a method for the production of a cooking vessel.
