Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1705091A2] The method involves positioning a console (1) in a cab of a train driver and attaching a set of pre-fabricated modules (2) at two sides of the console. The modules have a symmetrical base shape and are destined for the train driver. A set of operating units is removably arranged at the console and/or at the modules. Connections to drive, brakes and other components are provided from the console. An independent claim is also included for a driver`s control desk in a driver`s cab.
