Production of a steam ironing board (10 comprises using different components such as ironing surface, a sink (14), a cover (15) and a resting plate (13) joined together using the same connecting elements. An independent claim is also included for a steam ironing board produced using the above method. Preferred Features: Electrical components are mounted in the supply of sinks before applying the sink. The electrical components comprise a fan or sensors, preferably temperature or moisture sensor.
