An ironing board, especially for steam irons, with a collector trough with a shelf (13) for an iron and/or for a steam iron station or with such a station integrated into the board, in which the shelf (13) or the integrated station has a holding structure (20) for the attachment of a mounted part (A, B, C, D, E, F), e.g. a holder for electric cables, water bottles, easy-slip soles, clothes irons etc. Independent claims are included for (1) a mounted part as above (A to F) with a holding structure (30) for removable attachment to an ironing board (2) an arrangement comprising an ironing board and mounted part as above .
