Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1705430A1] The fume extractor hood, over a cooking area, has a grease filter (6) with two filter plates (8) at an angle to each other and an air guide (2,3) to direct the air flow to them. The air flow deflection turns it against the striking direction to increase the separation of grease and water droplets. A thicker filter body (9) is behind the filter plates.
