[origin: EP1705957A1] The conductor (10) has outer strands (14, 16) which are wound about an inner strand (12) that is electrically conductive. A specific conductivity of the inner strand is smaller than the specific conductivity of the outer strands. The inner strand is made of a material having high tensile strength and/or high alternating bending strength than a material from which the outer strands are made.
