Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2005066064A1] The invention relates to a device which is used to clean and/or disinfect a distribution head (10) provided with a collar-like lower section (14) comprising segment-shaped projections (18). The periphery of the lower section (14) comprises a cylindrically-shaped external peripheral surface (19) and has an internal recess which is formed by an axially recessed radial bearing surface (19), a cylindrical internal peripheral surface (20), a lower radial surface (21), and a peripheral surface (22) which is divided into segments. An adapter (30) can be arranged on the distribution head (10). The adapter (30) comprises first means which are used to apply a cleaning liquid to the surface of the recess. The adapter (30) also comprises an annular-shaped sealing insert (60), into which the distribution head (10) can initially be inserted in a loose manner, in relation to the cylindrically-shaped external peripheral surface (19) which is mounted in a first operational position and which can then be sealed in a liquid-tight manner in a second operational position, in such a manner that a cavity (94) is formed which is defined at least by the radial bearing surface (19), the cylindrical internal peripheral surface, the lower radial surface (21), the peripheral surface (22) which is divided into segments, in addition to a surface (88) of the adapter (30).
