The aim of the invention is to reduce the cost and means required for fixing a lens to the housing (5), and to obtain a uniform housing surface on the object side. To this end, part (3) of the optical element (3; 9) acting as an optical lens on the object side, or the entire optical element (3) of the device (1), is embodied as an integral component of the housing (5) of the device (1).
