The device has a continuously circulating suction belt (3) with suction openings (36) for sucking flat materials, and a wheel (2) circulating with same speed as the suction belt, where the wheel is attached to the suction belt. The wheel is designed as a suction wheel, and has a suction unit that communicates with longitudinal suction channels of the suction belt, where the channels lead to the suction openings.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Saugvorrichtung (1) für ein Flächenmaterial, insbesondere für Bogen (2) einer bogenverarbeitenden Maschine, vorzugsweise Bogendruckmaschine, mit mindestens einem endlos umlaufenden, Saugöffnungen (36) zum Ansaugen des Flächenmaterials aufweisenden Saugband (3), dem mindestens ein mit gleicher Geschwindigkeit umlaufendes Rad (12) zugeordnet ist. Es ist vorgesehen, dass das Rad (12) als Saugrad (13) ausgebildet ist und Saugelemente (29) aufweist, die mit zu den Saugöffnungen (36) führenden Längssaugkanälen (30) des Saugbandes (3) kommunizieren.
