[origin: EP1707686A1] For constructing a stepped facing structure over a foundation base having a sloped surface (2), support members (6) are attached to the base. The support members extend parallel to the sloped surface and define anchoring locations spaced along the upward direction of the sloped surface. For at least one step of the facing structure, a facing panel (16-17) is erected and held by at least one link member (10-12) having a rear end hooked at one of the anchoring locations and a front end connected to a raised portion of the facing panel. A fill material (20) is introduced between the sloped surface and the facing panel.
