Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1707708A2] The column has a set of modules telescopically coupled with each other by Morse cones (2a, 2b) that are isolated by a closing cap (3). A joint (32) is placed relative to an orifice (31) provided at a base (30) of the cap. An edge of the base is fitted in an end of a column section (1) corresponding to a lower module. The orifice is fitted in another end of the column section corresponding to an upper module such that the joint exerts a continuous pressure on the section. The fittings at the ends of the section present conjugated geometries from the dimensional point of view.
