Abstract (en)
A high-pressure impulse throttle (3) is fitted into the juncture of a high-pressure line (1) and a common rail (2). The throttle forms a flow channel (4) tapering in a manner in which the flow resistance in the normal fuel flow direction is smaller than that in the reverse direction. A high-pressure fuel pump is arranged in the high-pressure line.
