Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1707868A2] The lamp has a diode (4) producing a signal light, and heating units (7, 8) separately provided from the diode for heating a part of the signal light. A lamp cap (2) is provided for covering and/or protecting the diode. The heating device is arranged in an inner space of the lamp cap for heating an area of the lamp cap. The diode is formed as a light emitting diode. A control unit controls operation of the heating units depending on parameters determined by a sensor.
