Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1708315A2] The connector has a multi-contact connector case (60) presenting a connection side through which the case is assembled with another multi-contact connector case (1). Each case has a locking zone comprising a series of regularly spaced teeth perpendicular to an axis. The case (60) has a case body (62) comprising a cable attachment portion (18) presenting a U shaped transversal section, where a bunch of cables (92) is fixed to the portion using a clamp collar (93) made of a conductor material. An independent claim is also included for a method of mounting a multi-contact connector on a support.
